,
Welcome to my home page!
Here you will find a lot of information about my professional trajectory, my research interests and my current work. I present my publications, research, teaching and outreach activities.
I am a multifaceted political analyst and sociologist who possesses expertise in research design, public opinion and political elites' research, statistical modelling, and hands-on experience from substantive fieldwork in a number of countries, especially in Legislative institutions and Political Parties. I am enthusiastic about both teaching and exercising data-grounded policy and decision-making analysis. I also enjoy building teams (project management) and the organization of events (ability to search funding and oversee budget implementation). I enjoy best comparative research, with my main geographical loci of interests being the EU, Latin America, and Western Europe.
I would summarize my interests through these keywords: Democratic Representation, Legislative Procedural Rules, Constitutional Choice/Design, Challenges of Fragile and Consolidated Democracies, Party Politics, Processes of Regional Integration in the EU and Latin America, Transparency and Implementation of Transparency
I was until recently Researcher in the Project "The Evolution of Parliamentarism and its Political Consequences" and I am currently Senior Consultant for Vision Legislativa and collaborate with a project on the Evaluation of Transparency in the local level in Valencia together with the Department of Political Science at the Catholic University of Valencia
I have also recently collaborated for blogs such as Piedras de Papel ; such as Agenda Pública ; posted theme-reports at Vision Legislativa ; collaborated in the Research Project as expert survey coder on 'Political Representation, Executives, and Political Parties' (PREPPS)
